Aero Space Kinross and the SGACP in partnership in Scotland

Following the recent public announcement about Aero Space Kinross’ acquisition of a permanent home at the former RAF Balado Bridge, we are delighted to confirm that the Sandy Gunn Aerospace Careers Programme is partnering with Aero Space Kinross (see note) for all our school presentation activities in Scotland.

Starting this year Aero Space Kinross will be hosting the SGACP presentation road show from the 20th to the 22nd September at Strathallan School; eventually we will set up a more permanent establishment in Scotland once the Balado Bridge site has been developed accordingly. Speaking of the combined partnership efforts in Scotland, Chairman of the SGACP, Dr Michael Smith said:

“Aero Space Kinross and the Sandy Gunn Aerospace Careers Programme have been developing our future relations since September 2019 when they were guests at the SGACP launch at Cranfield University. Although Covid 19 caused our presentations to be delayed across the entire UK until Autumn 2021, we are very much looking forward to bringing what has turned out to be our highly popular school road show to Scotland later this year.”

The location of the future Aero Space Kinross facility is within two hours travel of 90% of the population in Scotland and by basing the SGACP road show at this excellent location for three days consecutively we maximise the opportunity for secondary schools across Scotland to benefit.

Note: Aero Space Kinross is a wholly owned trading subsidiary of Aero Space Scientific Educational Trust - Scottish Charity No SCO45931 and Community Benefit Society No 7524
