The Packard V-1650-7 is an American built version of the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine, it's most notable application being to power the mighty North American P-51 aircraft into battle. A wonder of engineering immortalized in aviation history, this liquid-cooled V12 has become synonymous with power, speed, and a pioneering era of aviation development that led to ultimate victory over the Axis powers.

As part of the UK-based restoration to flight of Spitfire AA810, we have helped create a beautiful 1/4 scale desk model of this famous engine to help support the work on the Great Escape Spitfire. This new creation is 3D printed as a kit in completely sustainable plant-based resin, before being hand-painted and hand-assembled prior to mounting and dispatch to you as a finished product.
Strictly limited to 225 produced units, these engines will be built to order with a 6 week lead time into the USA, 8 weeks into Australasia. The first 50 orders who place a full deposit will receive a free 1/4 scale Hamilton Standard P-51 propeller modelled from a full-size unit flown here in the UK.​

Payment options for our fully assembled and painted 1/4 scale Packard V-1650-7 are either:
Full deposit with free Hamilton Standard Propeller (limited to 50 units): £1,130.00

Each engine is hand assembled and painted to order. Strictly limited to 225 units.
Our kit is accurately reproduced by 3D scanning the component parts of a full size V-1650-7.
Our engines are accurate to 1/4 scale, having been produced by 3D laser scanning individual components which are then assembled as per the original engines. Dimensions are as follows:
