First Flight 80th Anniversary Highly Limited Edition Print - SIGNED

To mark the 80th anniversary of the first flight of AA810 the project has commissioned an oil painting depicting AA810 lifting from RAF Henley-on-Thames for its first flight on the 17th October 1941 with Supermarine Chief Test Pilot Jeffrey Quill at the controls.

Strictly limited to 25 prints only this A2 size collectors edition print will look stunning on any wall. Unarmed Warrior was painted by aviation artist Ben Holmes who won the Guild of Aviation Artists 2019 Arthur Gibson Trophy for best work by a Guild artist exhibiting for the first time. These unique prints are signed by the artist and two relatives of pilots of AA810:

Alastair Gunn, the nephew of murdered Great Escaper and last pilot of AA810 Sandy Gunn.

Sarah Quill, daughter of Supermarine Chief Test Pilot and first pilot of AA810 Jeffrey Quill OBE AFC.

All funds raised from the sale of these prints will be used for the restoration of the control column, rudder control assemblies and throttle unit for AA810.
