Our Spitfire Fund Badge is made from 100% recycled plastic materials, is 100% recyclable, and is produced in a solar powered factory in the UK to reduce transportation costs and carbon emissions! Mounted on recycled card, posted in a recycled envelope, this is the easiest way to help AA810 return to flight. Our badge is modeled on the original WW2 Spitfire Fund badge that was offered to the public in return for their donations to the Ministry of Aircraft Production to help build Spitfires. Public efforts in the war raised £13m (£650m in today’s value) which was enough to ‘pay’ for approximately 2,600 Spitfires, the income being used as a valuable contribution to all aspects of the War Effort.
