Apprentices from the Thales Glasgow site recently travelled to the Isle of Wight to witness the restoration of the iconic Spitfire PR.IV AA810 reconnaissance aircraft – a true piece of history!
During their visit, the apprentices were able to learn about the heritage of the project they are working on, alongside their skilled engineers – a great opportunity for them to develop their technical skills and industry expertise.

It's inspiring to see these apprentices getting hands-on experience with such an iconic aircraft. Thinking about the restoration, I imagine dealing with really challenging problems and maybe even some unexpected issues, like dealing with what feels like crazy cattle 3d when trying to manage all the different parts and processes.
